I'm not really going to question how this thing actually works. "Magic" is as fast and easy an explanation as any, so I'll leave it at that. There are just two important questions to ask, at least for now. I'll think of some more when I get a little information.

First…where in Valdemar am I? If I've just been whisked away to some other far off land, I'm not going to be particularly happy, and my lifebonded is probably even less happy about it. Well, no, that's more like a guaranteed unhappiness.

Speaking of, has anyone seen him? He looks kind of like an old man, but he's got a young face. Silver eyes. Wearing Heraldic Whites. "Pretty" is a mild word to describe him. Hardheaded, hero complex, likes to shoulder all his burdens and let nobody else share them? Actually, that describes practically all Heralds. I'll tack on "loner" to the list, then. That should be at least somewhat unique from the rest.
